Mandala Shield Course

Join us for a very special course this year as we teach you to make a Mandala Shield. You will be learning how to make one using traditional materials like cowhide or rawhide for the shield base, and decorate it with feathers, beads, fur, and wool to create a sacred, circular design. The circle shape itself is significant, symbolizing unity and the cycles of life, and later you can adorn it with animal totems, of your own choosing geometric patterns, or symbols of the four directions taking time to bond with you item.

In both witchcraft and other spiritual practices, a mandala can serve as a protective shield by using its concentric geometric designs to contain, focus, and repel energy. While mandalas originate from traditions like Hinduism and Buddhism, the concept of a "mandala shield" is adaptable and used by witches for magical and meditative protection.
